Hi everyone! My name is Amy Andersen. I couldn't choose a picture I loved of myself so I chose this one that has cute owls in it, so focus on the cute owls in the picture! 

So, I decided to start a food blog... not because I'm an amazing chef or anything (or really know any proper cooking techniques) but because I recently have had to go on a crazy diet to help heal my stomach! 

The diet I am on is the SIBO diet aka a low FODMAP diet. It is very similar to a Paleo diet but a little bit more restrictive... I'm not an expert on it so I won't explain it here, if you have questions look it up! :) Also let me say that each doctor or nutritionist (from what I've seen) have a little bit of a different idea of what foods are high FODMAP. So I'm just going off of what was recommended by my nutritionist and what I've found that I react to, you may need to adjust them based off of what you can or cannot eat. 

Anyways, I'm making this blog to share the recipes I have come up with, found from other websites and loved, or found from other websites and modified to work for my dietary needs! I hope this will be helpful to anyone who is trying to follow a low FODMAP diet or anyone who is just trying to eat a low carb diet!
